The Cleveland Clinic, one of the world's premier centers for academic medicine and medical innovation, is proud to host the Medical Innovation Summit which is attended by nearly 900 industry clinicians, business leaders, venture capitalists and assorted professionals anually. The Cleveland Clinic is now offering a DVD video of all three days of edifying expert panel discussions, authoritative keynote speakers and live surgeries. Currently, the 2008 summit DVD is provided at 20% discount on pre-orders for the 2009 DVD are being accepted. Each Offering is detailed below.
The 2009 Medical Innovation Summit will provide unparalleled insight into the newest innovations in cancer therapeutics, diagnostics and disease management systems. Sam Palmisano, Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of the IBM Corporation, will be the featured speaker.
The 2008 Medical Innovation Summit provided insights on innovations in urology and gynecology. DVD videos for all discussions, speakers and surgeries over the three days session are available for purchase. In addition, the keynote speeches or individual days are avaialble. Topic for each day included:

Day One (11/10/08) focused on analysis of urological/gynecological markets and the effect of politics on healthcare while featuring keynote speakers Karen Licitra, Chairman of Ethicon Endo-Surgery, Johnson & Johnson, Ron Wyden, U.S. Senator, D-Orgeon, and Delos Cosgrove, MD.

Day Two (11/11/08) began with three live surgeries exemplifying renal surgery innovation: Laparoscopic Partial Nephrectomy, Single-Port Prostatectomy, and Single-Port Renal Cryablation; and continued with comprehensive panel discussions and a networking opportunity. Keynote speakers included former Secretary of the Treasury Robert Rubin and John Dineen, CEO of GE Healthcare.

Day Three (11/12/08) featured keynote speakers Jim Tobin, CEO of Boston Scientific and Tommy Thompson, former Secretary of Health and Human Services, while also highlighting surgeries related to Pelvic Floor Innovations: Robotic Surgery for Vaginal Prolapse, Single Port Technique for Vaginal Prolapse, Hysteroscopic Female Sterilization, and Cystoscopic Injection of Botox for Overactive Bladder.
